Experienced, dedicated, and loyal to 1 or 2 crafts, they are the backbone of the construction industry.
Remodeling Contractor – The “Remodeling Contractor” typically has a “crew” capable of completing the majority of an addition or remodeling “make over”. The “remodeler” can be skilled and experienced in many construction areas and “controls” the entire job.
General Contractor – The General Contractor is sometimes referred to as the “Paper Contractor”. While he too may have a crew of employees or function without a crew, the majority of the “General or Paper Contractor’s” gross receipts are paid to sub contractors who perform the actual artisan work. General Contractors present a unique exposure to insurance companies and require stricter underwriting. And while there are limited insurance markets available for “GC’s”, we believe we have the best insurance companies in the Nation providing this coverage.
